Neo-Renaissance furniture with flap
Expression of quality craftsmanship was produced by Leopoldo Virgili, under the guidance of architect Marcello Piacentini. The company founded in Cascina in 1880 produced furniture for Versilia and for many ministerial offices during the fascist period. The station of Pisa was also supplied with these furnishings. All this led to a very rich creative repertoire of the furniture industry of Cascina, whose memory is preserved in the iconographic archive.
