Pasquale Monaco is a contemporary artist originally from Napolidove, born in 1948 but has lived and worked in Rome since 1983. He attended the Capodimonte Porcelain Institute and the 'Neapolitan Academy of Fine Arts. His works are exhibited in numerous private and public collections such as in Rome at the Ministry of Archeology and at the “La Sapienza” University, at the National Association of Journalists, at the Italian Federation of Figurative Arts and at the Vatican Museums. In 1978 he made an altarpiece for the church of the Franciscan Fathers in Pollica (Cosenza). His pictorial production is of expressionist style and is characterized by its material density and by the choice of various themes, from figures to landscapes and still lifes.
