Eclittica in streaked black marble is a centerpiece tray with an elegant and modern design, designed in 2020 by designer Stella Orlandino. Characterized by the precious nuances of brushed marble which refers to the material chromatisms of the lava soils of Eastern Sicily and which are enclosed inside a perforated tray in powder-coated black iron. Ecliptic, in fact, is an architectural reflection on the Milky Way: it is the center of a region called the zodiac. Traditionally this region is divided into 12 signs, each of 30° longitude and named after 12 of the 13 constellations of the Milky Way that straddle the ecliptic. The aim was to enclose the ecliptic in an apparent motion, like a belt forged by the stars of the constellations, guarding a slice of the universe reflected in a play of chiaroscuro… like during an eclipse. .
