Mega nocturnal eruption of Etna taken from San Teodoro.
My name is Fernando Famiani, I am 57 years old and I live in a small town in the Province of Messina which is called San Teodoro and is immersed in the beautiful scenery of the Nebrodi Park at 1,150 meters above sea level. My journey as a photographer began as a child when I took my first photos with the cameras with the built-in roll. I have always been attracted by landscape photos living in a very panoramic place and above all by Etna which fascinated me since I was a child for the stories of myths and legends that were told to us at school and by grandparents. Stories of Giants, stories of Gods who lived inside the volcano and forged divine weapons. The leap in quality towards a more professional photo takes place after a photography course organized by the Ente quasi cui lavoro. From that moment he begins to have more mastery and I read and study and take courses to improve my photography. With the advent of social media, almost as a game, I start posting some photos and immediately these go viral, appreciations flock from different latitudes of the globe. I begin to send my photos to some national and international competitions, a way to compete with photographic art and be evaluated by competent judges. These are the results over the years
