''TERAKOTA is a laboratory that deals with artistic creations

handcrafted in ceramic.
 
Our creations range from simple but original and refined
favor boxes to more complex works (chandeliers, mosaics, vases,
amphorae, etc.) , all customizable according to the tastes of our customers.
 
The owner, as well as the artist of all the works you see in the photos,
is called ORAZIO TROVATO. Born in Acireale in 1978, from an early age
he showed a strong predisposition towards art, especially in
creating, modeling and painting.
 
He refines his passion at the art institute 'arte of Giarre (CT) where
he obtained his diploma and, after his military service (where he was
assigned as official illustrator of the newspaper of the 6th
Rome Engineers Regiment arriving fourth in a
painting competition organized by the barracks of Italy, receiving a commendation after the
discharge for having collaborated as a draftsman in the elaboration
of a news report relating to the Regiment's activities with a spirit of
collaboration and commendable dedication) immediately began working in
various laboratories learning the secrets, as well as the beauty, of
artistic ceramics, thus gaining 20 years of experience in the field.
 
Now, free to create what he likes best, he continues his
profession, together with his col laboratories, in his laboratory located in
Acireale (CT), a real forge of ideas, crowning of the passion
of a lifetime, where the name TERAKOTA in Lithuanian... means TERRACOTTA.''
