Corrado Avolese, known in art as Corravale, is a contemporary painter originally from Pozzallo, a Sicilian town in the south of Sicily, in the province of Ragusa where he lives and works. He graduated from the G. La Pira nautical technical institute in Pozzallo. He soon gathered experience of maritime navigation. Among the artist's favorite subjects, portraits, still lifes and seascapes come to the fore. Corravale's art stands out, in fact, for its realism and strong dynamism. One of his favorite topics is plane taking off. In 1995 he participated in the First International Biennial of Malta, receiving positive acclaim. He meets the maestro Piero Guccione. Corravale also lent his paintings for the filming of "The Young Montalbano", a fiction broadcast on Rai Uno in autumn 2015.

Today the criticism is entirely positive and receives wide acclaim as also demonstrated by the sales.

Corravale says: “The only goals of my life are peace and serenity, helping people in difficulty and doing something for humanity. My ambition is to put passion into my work; I would define it as a "mission" because I believe that every artist must make their talent available to others.
