His rigorous and precise prospective study, the meticulous and accurate analysis of details, the appropriate coloring distinguish him and the influence of light in his compositions. 
Luministic poetics characterized by the use of warm, amber colors as in the painting in question.
He preferred to paint interiors of churches and sacristies.
