The print shows Apollo, on the left, in a chariot pulled by four horses, accompanied by seven maidens representing the hours; above the horses there is Lucifer as cherubs carrying a torch; and to the right is Aurora, with bouquets of flowers, leading them through the clouds until the dawn of a new day.
