Work attributable to the Zaganelli area. This delightful panel is probably part of a larger structure attributable to Francesco Zaganelli, active in the Ravenna area. We can refer to the Santa Lucia by the same Zaganelli whose style can be compared to the work in question. Most likely it dates back to the period of his arrival in Veneto, called to Vicenza to paint the Madonna of the Roses; during this stay he was influenced by Veneto and certainly came into contact with the influences of Durer, which our work is somehow influenced by. The work can be dated around the early 1500s, as until 1509 Zaganelli worked exclusively in tempera.
